24 Hour Emergency Call Out
Cube offer a 24 hour call out service for any blocked drains or pipes no matter how big or small the problem may seem. Our emergency service teams are able to clear any size blockage from sinks and toilets through to soil stacks and sewers.
How do we Clear the Blockages
It depends on the type and location of blockage as to what type of machinery is used, but all drain clearing staff carry an armoury of tools. For bathroom drain clearing, and for smaller pipe sizes, we usually use electric drain cleaners, these are extremely powerful compact machines needing only one man operation.
These machines spin extremely fast, with full power delivered to the wide range of cleaning heads which are capable of tackling almost any type of blockage or obstruction. For larger jobs we use extension rods and when all else fails we rely on high pressure jetting.
Closed Circuit TV (CCTV) Inspection
By using high-tech CCTV video equipment, we are able to identify any problems you may be having or any future problems you may face. A small camera on the end of cable is pushed through the drains or pipes so you can see exactly why your drains are causing problems.
Prevention Better than Cure
The best way to avoid needing your drains cleared, is to help keep them unblocked in the first place. We offer a free drain survey to check all your bathroom waste, soil stack waste and outside drains are not going to give you any future blockages. Call any time to have your free drain inspection.
Try and follow these guideline to prevent your drains becoming blocked:
- Remove trapped hair in plug holes.
- Clear soap residue by rinsing with disinfectant.
- Don't try flushing away over large amount of paper, or anything hard.
- Keep drain grids clean and uncovered by leaves.
- Lift man hole covers to check flow of waste.
- Make sure drain pipes are clear of debris.
- Don’t push food down the sink, remove and dispose of in a bin.
- Don’t pour cooking fat down the sink
- Try using less washing powder in your machine.
